Clarksville, TN-May 9, 2008 – Clint CW2 Tabor joined the U.S. Army in 1995, and served with the unit of the 101st, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment Fort Campbell, Kentucky, until 2001. In 2001, when his contract was, he left active duty and joined the Arizona National Guard when his family moved there from Fort Campbell.
While Tabor was in Arizona, he worked as an airline pilot for Mesa Airlines. But in the summer of 2006 his unit was activated for deployment, and then moved to Fort Hood to train for a year before his deployment.
In January 2007, Tabor and his unit arrived finally in Kandahar, Afghanistan, where he served proudly for seven months before returning to the States – for the medical assessment of PTSD (PTSD) in connection with injuries.
"As a pilot with the army, it was imperative that I am well rested and alert for the service, if I could commit lives, "Tabor recalled." I had insomnia and could not sleep, so I was sent home from Afghanistan for evaluation.
When was brought home in September 2007, the Armée de Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, Tabor was immediately placed under observation for PTSD that was causing the insomnia.
"Since I came back, and my insomnia has improved a lot and I know that most of that has to do with the fact that the other members of my unit went home, completely unharmed Tabor said. "This has much to do with me not sleeping, I was worried for my people. But I do not sleep like me."
But Tabor, now you think you might be able to sleep, once did before deployment.
Tabor was chosen as the winner of this week to receive a free Craftmatic ® adjustable bed because of his injury and military service. Free delivery Craftmatic bed for a week to a deserving veteran wounded through CraftmaticCARES Program.
"Because of my insomnia, I rejoiced when I heard that was going to get a Craftmatic bed," said Tabor. "Right now I use a mattress memory foam, and is well but I think the nature of the Craftmatic adjustable bed really help you sleep better and hopefully cure my insomnia. "
"CraftmaticCARES Program was created as a way for our company to return to the men and women who have given so much to our country," said Eric Kraftsow, Elevation Bed, LLC owners of the Craftmatic trademark. "Because of the" S "of the spine, ordinary flat beds tend to create gaps in the legs and spine are not supported. Craftmatic beds adjust so that these gaps are eliminated and the spine is fully supported. This relieves the pain these veterans are hurt when throwing and turn at night in flat bed. We are so happy now that these wounded heroes to sleep and the support they deserve. "
Tabor is still in active service until it has more surgery scheduled for this month. After the operation, which hopes to be back in the reserves.
