Why nothing works?

I sleep very, very bad. on average it takes me about 2 or 3 hours of sleep. When I sleep, I wake up often and not sleep quality. i get probably between 2 to 5 hours of sleep each night. I was prescribed sleeping pills by my doctor and have slightly improved my ability to sleep, but then stopped working altogether. I tried warm milk, no caffeine after noon, hours before Working Paper No. 5, or after eating dinner, reading before bedtime bath, heat, essential oils, meditation, sleep music, sleep without music, sleeping with the lights, sleep in pitch black ..
